Выставка АРТ Москва 2025

The “ART Moscow” 2025 exhibition took place from April 23 to 27 at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. This was the 22nd edition of the fair, and its theme, “Dialogue,” accurately reflected the essence of what was happening: over 250 galleries from Russia and BRICS countries gathered across 12,000 m² to demonstrate how classic and contemporary art can not only coexist but also engage in a meaningful conversation. The exhibition featured works ranging from Aivazovsky to “video art,” as well as unique projects such as a collection of art deco automobile mascots and an exhibition of Soviet posters from the Great Patriotic War.

Visiting the ART Moscow 2025 Exhibition

We recently had the honor of visiting the ART Moscow exhibition, and I want to share my impressions of this magnificent event with you. The exhibition traditionally brought together numerous talented artists under one roof, who presented their vision of contemporary art. Each exhibit was imbued with the unique breath of time. We saw works that reflect not only the personal experiences of the authors but also the most important social and cultural themes of our time.
Every corner was filled with creative inspiration, sincere emotions, and lively discussions. This place became a real platform for dialogue between artists and viewers, allowing each of us to interpret art in our own way.

“Karlskirche” - Memories and a Meeting with an Artist at the ART Moscow Exhibition

Admiring a painting with familiar views of Karlskirche, I remembered my hometown. This church is located in Vienna and is one of its symbols.
Suddenly, the author of the painting, the contemporary Russian artist Nikolai Dmitrenko, approached me and told me that the painting was painted in Vienna before the pandemic.

-“I know this place perfectly. And I really liked your symbolic, modern interpretation. And also, I would add a couple of details of the ornament,” I said.

-“Great idea!” - the author happily supported the idea and a warm conversation began.

The discussion of the great Austrian landmark turned into an acquaintance, and it turned out that Nikolai was already familiar with our gallery.
It’s amazing how small this world is! People united by one creative element meet and instantly find many common points of contact, common aspirations, and visions. Creativity is a living canvas in which not only the authors create their masterpieces, but also they themselves are details of more large-scale patterns, in which the threads from their own fates intertwine!

The “ART Moscow” exhibition is not just an event; it’s truly a sign of the times, reminding us of the power of art and its ability to unite people, inspire new achievements, and reflect our inner world.
Special attention at the exhibition was paid to young artists within the framework of the “ART Moscow. NEXT” program. All of this was accompanied by lectures, discussions, and conferences, turning the exhibition into a space not only for visual perception but also for deep understanding. In a context where culture is increasingly becoming an instrument of dialogue, “ART Moscow” 2025 showed that art is not just about aesthetics, but also about meaning.
Impressions from such events further encourage us to strive to support and develop contemporary art, making it accessible to a wider audience. Inspired by what we saw, we plan to present new unique projects and exhibitions that can further increase the popularization of Russian art, both within the country and internationally!

A Brief History of the “ART Moscow” Exhibition

The “ART Moscow” exhibition first took place in 1996 at the Central House of Artists and quickly became a key event in the Russian art market, uniting contemporary and classical art, antiques, and jewelry. After a break from 2014 to 2021, the fair was revived in 2022 in a new format and has been held annually at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow ever since. As of 2025, 22 editions of the exhibition have been held. The exact dates of the next “ART Moscow” have not yet been announced, but, following tradition, it will likely take place in April 2026.
