Winter in the image of a medieval queen. This is exactly how I imagined winter in my childhood — majestic and stern, with a high medieval truffo orfovre hairstyle and, of course, with a bullfinch. I thought these birds appeared only in winter because I never saw them in summer.
The painting is part of a cycle called «4 Seasons 4 Souls». I dedicated it to portrait images of the seasons. The series fulfilled my long-standing dream. In childhood, I was inspired by Alphonse Mucha's cycle «The Seasons» and dreamed of creating my own interpretation of this theme.
The painting was exhibited at the international exhibition «Saint Petersburg Art Week 2022»; at the exhibition «By the Selfie Method» in Moscow; at the international exhibition «Talent of Russia 2022» in the New Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; at the annual exhibition of professional artists of Serpukhov «Autumn Vernissage 2023»; at the exhibition «Christmas Palette 2025» at the A.S. Pushkin State Museum, as well as at four solo exhibitions.
AWARD: 1st place in the international contemporary art competition «Saint Petersburg Art Week 2022».
