Sergey Merenkov’s painting “Birdhouse” is not just a depiction of a person in a tree, but a multilayered and mysterious composition, filled with symbolism and allowing for many interpretations. The artist creates an image of loneliness, solitude, and perhaps alienation, but at the same time endows it with shades of self-sufficiency and freedom. In the painting, we see the figure of a person sitting on the branches of a tree.
