The painting «Алхимический трактат Д. и M.»
reveals the theme of vision and the union of opposites. This is not just a landscape — it is an Allegory of contemplation, where nature becomes the temple of the Spirit, and the gaze is an act of alchemical transformation.
At the compositional center is a golden eye woven from radiant petals. Its pupil is a square, a symbol of Alchemical structure, logic, and form. The eye seems to observe the world not from outside, but from within, revealing the hidden alchemy of being.
Behind it rise mountains — an eternal symbol of ascent, inner effort, and the limits of knowledge. Their cold violet-gray palette contrasts with the warm gold of the center, emphasizing the balance between asceticism and illumination.
Below the mountains, seven oils are arranged like a quiet vertical symphony connecting heaven and earth.
They symbolize the process of inner growth and the seven-step ascent of consciousness. In the foreground lies a field strewn with small flowers, where nature seems to breathe, returning to the painting a sense of life and the breath of the world. This field becomes a metaphor for earthly experience, in which awareness takes root.
The painting’s palette is built on the interplay of the cold tones of the sky and mountains with the warmth of gold and green — between detachment and softness. This combination creates a feeling of calm and light, as if the viewer is inside the very gaze of the world.
«Алхимический трактат Д. и M.» is not just a symbol, but a portal of inner vision, where the eye becomes an alchemical mirror: it reflects not the external landscape, but the path of the Will. Here two principles merge — Spirit and Matter, Day and Twilight, Movement and Silence — to give birth to a state of wholeness and inner balance.
