The painting was created in early March in a protected forest. At this time, nature awakens from its winter sleep – the grass turns green, birds sing, and the days grow longer.
The transition from one season to another plays an important role in my work – I can capture the natural hues unique to this period. The painting «Игра оранжевого и пурпурного в соснах» captured all the shades of early spring in the forest: the rich green colors of pines and firs, the orange tones of tree bark, and the piercing purple – an illusion of sunlit glimmers.
