The work was created under the impression of a trip to the Caucasus in 2010. After a difficult trek to the Austrian bivouacs, which took about a day, one of the members of my group sat down and lit a cigarette. Before him unfolded the view of the Bezengi Wall. The phrase "Let the whole world wait..." came to my mind. The hustle and bustle of life, problems—they are somewhere down there, while here time stands still against the grandeur of the mountains.
Later, I painted a picture with the same title.
