Marina Podgaevskaya (born 1963) graduated from the St. Petersburg Art School 1979-1983.
Graduated from the school of classical (Dutch) painting (1997-98).
Member of the St. Petersburg Association of Artists IFA.
Her works are in private collections in Russia, America, Australia and Europe.
My style is abstraction, surrealism and my paintings cover themes: "soul", "time travel", "fragments of life". My paintings create the impression that something musical is happening.
Over the 19 years of work, I have experimented with various techniques. Over time, I began to use paper and texture paste in my oil paintings.
My current painting style best reflects my character and inner world.
A statement that best represents me as an artist:
Tamed spontaneity is like a river. You can regulate the mass and strength of the river, but you will always feel the nature of this river.
My works are a combination of modern themes and bright decorative images.
