Marina Podgaevskaya (born 1963) graduated from the St. Petersburg Art School in 1979-1983.
She graduated from the school of classical (Dutch) painting in 1997-98.
Member of the St. Petersburg Association of Artists IFA.
Her works are in private collections in Russia, America, Australia, and Europe.
My style is abstraction and surrealism, and my paintings explore themes such as "soul," "time travel," and "fragments of life." My paintings create the impression that something musical is happening.
Over 19 years of work, I have experimented with various techniques. Over time, I began to use paper and texture paste in my oil paintings.
My current painting style best reflects my character and inner world.
A statement that best represents me as an artist:
Tamed spontaneity is like a river. You can regulate the mass and strength of the river, but you will always feel the nature of this river.
My works are a combination of modern themes and bright decorative images.
