Polina Zhadko — multidisciplinary artist, performing artist (Velesova Nav), writer, screenwriter, and film director.

She was born in Moscow on April 21, 1998.
 After finishing school, she enrolled in the Intercultural Institute of Japan and in October 2016 moved to Tokyo, Japan to study the Japanese language and contemporary art theory.
 In February 2019, she enrolled at Seoul National University in a Korean language program.
In 2020, Polina returned to Moscow and studied sculpture of architectural details at the Russian Academy of Crafts. She later continued her education at other institutions.

Polina’s main focus became artistic research in the field of science: creating interactive light installations, augmented reality paintings explaining the laws of quantum physics. Subsequently, the project expanded and touched not only contemporary art but also extended into literature, music, and cinema.
 
To date, Polina has participated in more than 50 contemporary art exhibitions
in Russia at venues such as Novaya Tretyakovka, Roscosmos, Mars CSI, state galleries Khodynka and Zdes, Art Deco Museum, Winzavod CSI, and others. Abroad: the Louvre in Paris, Gustav Mahler Composer House-Museum, Jihlava in the Czech Republic, Expo 2020 Dubai, and more.

Nominee for the Sergey Kuryokhin Prize in 2022.

Included in the ranking of the Best Contemporary Artists of Russia by «ARTEEX».
