Polina Zhadko

Polina Zhadko is a multidisciplinary artist, singer (Velesova Nav), writer, screenwriter and film director.

She was born in Moscow on April 21, 1998.
After graduating from school, she entered the Intercultural Institute of Japan and in October 2016, she left for Japan, Tokyo, to study Japanese and the theory of contemporary art.
In February 2019, she entered the Seoul National University in the Korean language program.
In 2020, Polina returned to Moscow and studied at the Russian Academy of Crafts to become a sculptor of architectural details. And later she continued her education in other educational institutions.

Polina's main area of ​​activity was artistic research in the field of science: the creation of interactive, light installations, painting with augmented reality, explaining the laws of quantum physics. Subsequently, the project was scaled up and affected not only contemporary art, but also moved into literature, music and cinema.
 
At the moment, Polina has taken part in more than 50 exhibitions of contemporary art in Russia, in such spaces as the New Tretyakov Gallery, Roscosmos, the Mars Center for Contemporary Art, the Khodynka and Here State Galleries, the Art Deco Museum, the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art, etc. And abroad: the Louvre - Paris, the Gustav Mahler House Museum, Jihlava in the Czech Republic, Expo 2020 Dubai, etc.

Nominee for the Sergei Kuryokhin Prize in 2022.

She is included in the rating of the Best Contemporary Artists of Russia according to ARTEEX.
 
 
 
Полина Жадько — мультидисциплинарный художник, артист-исполнитель (Велесова Навь), литератор, сценарист и режиссёр кино.

Родилась в Москве 21 апреля 1998 года.
 Окончив школу, поступила в Intercultural Institute of Japan и в октябре 2016 года уехала в Японию, Токио для изучения японского языка и теории современного искусства.
 В феврале 2019 поступила в Сеульский Национальный Университет по программе изучения корейского языка.
В 2020 Полина вернулась в Москву и отучилась в Русской академии ремёсел на скульптора архитектурных деталей. И в дальнейшем продолжила обучение в других учебных заведениях.

Основным направлением деятельности Полины стало художественное исследование в области науки: создание интерактивных, световых инсталляций, живописи с дополненной реальностью, объясняющей законы квантовой физики. Впоследствии проект масштабировался и затронул не только современное искусство, но и перешёл в литературу, музыку и кинематограф.
 
На данный момент Полина приняла участие в более, чем 50-ти выставках
современного искусства. В России в таких пространствах, как Новая Третьяковка, Роскосмос, ЦСИ Марс, государственные галереи Ходынка и Здесь, Музей Арт-Деко, ЦСИ Винзавод и др. И зарубежом: Лувр - Париж, Дом-музей композитора Густава Малера, Йиглава в Чехии, Экспо 2020 Дубай и др.

Номинант на премию им. Сергея Курёхина в 2022.

Включена в рейтинг Лучших современных художников России по версии «ARTEEX».
