Ludmila Gorbunova is a contemporary Russian artist. She is a member of the Russian Artist Union and a laureate and award winner of several Russian and international exhibitions and contests.
Technique: oil painting, mixed media
Creative style: combination of abstract impressionism and metaphorical realism
Main themes: search for inner harmony, emotional metamorphoses, and light as a symbol of an inner source of strength.
Ludmila studied at Art School in St. Petersburg. She has two higher educations in pedagogy and economics. She built a successful business career in corporate finance and management.
In 2015, she returned to painting and has been interested in oil painting. She studied oil painting techniques with various masters, both individually and in group settings.
Since 2021, Ludmila has been actively exhibiting in Russia and abroad.
Her artworks are held by private collectors in Russia and other countries (Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland).
