Kseniya Scher

Country: Russia ·Born in 1994

Ksenia Sher was born in 1994 in the city of Minsk. Sher's childhood was spent in the cultural capital of Russia — Saint Petersburg. Her youth was spent in Rome, where she attended art studios and took up painting as a hobby. After meeting followers of Impressionism in France, Ksenia continued her advanced studies and decided to pursue art professionally. She currently works in Moscow, regularly participating in exhibitions and interacting with collectors in Russia and abroad.

Although Ksenia is a relatively young artist, highlights of her career include participation in international exhibitions, including Global Conversation in honor of the 75th anniversary of the UN, art fairs in Zurich and Moscow, and art shows in Michigan. She has received special awards in Russia and China, and has been published in art magazines in Europe and Japan. Sources of inspiration for Ksenia Sher include places where great artists lived and worked, books, travel, the study of mythology and history, the beauty of nature, and the female body.

Her work is supported by artistic director and idea author Alexander Dolyuba. With vast life experience and an inner sense of beauty, he enriches her creativity with bold ideas, irony, and unconventional approaches.
