Yulia Kudina — an artist from Krasnodar, born on February 22, 1992. From an early age, she showed an interest in art. As soon as the first opportunity arose to enroll in an art school, she took it—in the first grade. As soon as it was possible to leave general secondary school and switch to specialized education, Yulia left general school and enrolled in the Institute of Primary and Secondary Vocational Education, where she studied environmental design. Later, she continued her education at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics of Kuban State University, earning a bachelor's degree in 2018 and a master's degree in 2022.
Alongside her formal education, from the age of 16, Yulia studied under the guidance of the Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Dmitrievich Vorzhev, mastering the techniques of the old masters, which became the subject of her future master's thesis.
Yulia actively participates in the artistic life of the region and the country. She has taken part in regional exhibitions and the interregional professional competition of fine art works, the «Biennale», in various years. Her work «The Young Wine Festival» earned her the first youth award «Fanagoria ART — 2011» in the category «Young Talent».
Her achievements are not limited to local competitions. In 2011, Yulia was selected by the Krasnodar city administration to participate in an exchange exhibition dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the sister city relationship between Krasnodar and the German city of Karlsruhe. In 2012, she became the winner of the 17th International Festival of Young Talents «Crystal Magnolia» in Las Vegas, further confirming her international status.
In 2021, Yulia took part in the exhibition «What is art» in London at the Boomer Gallery and was featured in the international magazine «Art Life». Her works are held in private collections not only in Russia but also in various parts of our vast planet.
Additionally, Yulia Kudina is a painting and drawing teacher with over 12 years of experience. For 8 years, she has been leading an art school where applicants successfully prepare for and enter various art institutions across Russia. She also manages an art gallery in Krasnodar called НЕБОхСОВА, which actively contributes to raising the cultural level of the city.
