A semi-abstract work in monochrome, where black, white and all shades of grey are in dialogue.
The composition is based on contrast. In the central part, like a cold giant, the pointed spire of the Stalinist high-rise rises into the night sky. Its facade is not drawn in detail, but is assembled from rough, textured strokes, only the tiers and characteristic crests are guessed, dissolving in the darkness.
under it - a bridge, only a hint of a railing. car headlights, striving through the night. These light traps are reflected in a bizarre way on the wet asphalt, turning the roadway into a shaky mirror. Long, sweeping strokes of white merge and intertwine, creating a dynamic, almost musical rhythm.
All of this is reflected in the dark, almost black water of the river, where the clear shapes of the sky and the city dissolve into vague, shimmering shadows. It creates a sense of the lonely grandeur of a bygone era, frozen in contrast to the relentless, fast-paced movement of the modern night.
