“Aroma of Freshness” is a work for true connoisseurs of unique art. Created in Italy as part of the “Fleeting Beauty” series, this painting appeals not only to the visual senses, but also to the sense of smell, bringing to life in the viewer's imagination the indescribable aroma of freshly picked fruit.
“Aroma of Freshness” is a work filled with inner radiance. Three peaches, frozen on the canvas, seem to glow from within. Their velvety dark orange skin breathes freshness, exuding a sweet aroma. The background, executed in the thinnest layers, is rubbed down to the base in places, creating the image of an ancient fresco. This technique emphasizes the passage of time, which gradually transforms the juicy flesh into nothing more than a memory of a hot summer.
Framed with a wide baguette, the work demonstrates the highest level of craftsmanship: the velvet backing and brass plaque emphasize its status, while the intimate format and masterful sfumato, complemented by a network of hand-made craquelure, serve as a metaphor for the transformation of the ephemeral into the eternal.
This painting was created to become the jewel of a private collection.
The ideal choice for a status gift is underscored by its exhibition success in 2025: the painting took part in the international multimedia exhibition “Dialogue across Continents,” the all-Russian exhibition-competition “Talent of Russia” (Moscow), and the international exhibition “The Art of Still Life” (Moscow). Together with other works from the “Elusive Beauty” series, the painting was exhibited at the artist's solo exhibition in Padua (Italy).
