With the hard edges distinct and the colors bright, this painting looks ostensibly simple. On the face value of it, it looks like an optical composition; in fact, it is an exercise in the philosophy of time and space. I play with meaning, avoiding conceptual intricacies. I source my inspiration in rendering both the actual and the metaphysical aspects of the world, a challenging and elusive sense of otherworldliness composed not of matter but of sensations.
