I cry a tear so well
For this Moon, I took paints of different colors from 8 (eight) tubes. Among them was only one green color: French brand Couleurs Leroux handmade oil Oxide de Chrome. I am an alchemist, in a way!
In this painting, there is strong emphasis on the moon through the use of contrast. Contrast is very important in visual art. I created a dynamic tension between the black sky and the light moon.
I intended this composition to evoke a sense of the universal. In my painting, I rely on my visual instincts and subconscious intuition more than on any preconceived ideas. I tend to lean towards the esoteric and purely spiritual, yet without any mysticism.
