This work is about the past that lives on in objects. Once, these time-worn, rusted coffee pots witnessed warm family gatherings around the table. Friends and relatives would gather, pour coffee from them, share joys over dessert, argue, and laugh together. Now, they remain as a symbol of those moments—a fragile thread connecting us to memories of a happy past.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
