For several nights in a row I dreamed that I was painting something very gentle and bright. Which was very different from my usual bright cheerful pictures. Then I realized that I was ripe for something new.
And then I began to think about the Bohemian Flowers series.
I made many sketches, but they were all very overloaded with details, and I wanted light and air. So gradually I came to the ideal version, which you can read in each picture!
The painting is painted on thick canvas (50% linen + 50% cotton). Oil paints with a high degree of UV protection.
