This original work «On the ski lift» was created by contemporary Russian artist Vladimir Grigoryan and is available for purchase online.
The painting "ON THE SKI LIFT," from the "Adrenaline" series, is the left part of triptych No. 1. The painting depicts snowboarders sitting on a ski lift against the sky. The cold blue sky background conveys a frosty atmosphere, with sun rays shining on the ski lift and the colorful suits of the athletes. At first glance, it seems that there is nothing special happening in the scene. But this is not entirely true.
Remember, moments of pause sometimes bring more progress than the action itself. They are not cold at all; the snowboarders are inspired and, while ascending to the summit for another rapid descent, they share their emotions, impressions, discuss maneuvers and techniques, make plans, and admire the bird’s-eye views. Inspiration, resting in nature, socializing with friends, and the adrenaline rushing through their veins from the thrill and speed brighten their sensations and fuel the desire to conquer new heights of mastery.
It’s great to spend active time with like-minded people. In these moments, there is something I call a generator of desires and inspiration. Sometimes actions are not important, but the plan and desire are, without which any action becomes absurd and meaningless.
This painting can be hung on the wall in your apartment, house, office, restaurant, or hotel, and it will become a wonderful decoration for your interior.
