The mountain Ayu-Dag (570 m) — Bear — mountain. It is one of the symbols of Crimea on the coast of the Black Sea. Legend has it: a bear, tired from long wanderings, bent down to the sea to drink water. He drank long and greedily, and by the command of the sea god, he froze, petrified, and turned into a huge mountain. The old bear has been lying on the shore for thousands of years. His mighty body has turned to stone.
The powerful sides turned into sheer cliffs, the high back became the mountain peak reaching the clouds, the head transformed into a sharp rock, and the thick fur turned into a dense forest.
