This work is rightfully considered one of the key pieces in Antonio Lebedef's practice. It was precisely after creating this painting that the artist transferred its image onto the roof of a building spanning more than 300 m² — a monumental painted surface visible from satellite images. In doing so, the artwork transcended the canvas and became part of the urban and visual history, gaining a truly iconic status.
At the center of the composition are the eyes. Not as a portrait detail, but as a symbol of the main channel of perception for modern humans. Through the gaze, terabytes of visual content, informational noise, and digital images pass daily, subtly shaping thought, reactions, and states of consciousness.
This painting became one of the first vivid manifestos of the authorial direction Lebedef calls glitchsurrealism. Here, the "glitch" is not a defect but an artistic language through which the artist speaks about the overload of perception and the elusive nature of reality.
For a collector, this work is valuable not only for its technique and expressive visual power but also for its historical context. It is a piece from which the image literally "went out into the city" and became part of a large-scale artistic statement visible even from space.
"Still Life of Our Reality" is not an image of objects but a capture of the state of an era where the human gaze has become the main battleground between attention and noise.
