And it’s not the kind of city life we’re all used to seeing.
This city, Ostashkov, is located in a remote area, far from metropolises, and lives at a rural pace, even though it holds city status. Chickens, roosters, sheep, and cows roam the streets. It’s so charming when every city resident feeds and brings home a cow if it has wandered into the wrong yard for the night. In summer, life here is more active; in winter, of course, the pace slows down.
That’s why I captured this unique city.
