I was inspired to create this painting by a visit to the aquarium, where the underwater plants impressed me as much as terrestrial ones. Plus, the sea creatures so gracefully enlivened the overall picture. The idea of the bag came from reflections on what treasure to depict. It turned out relevant and humorous.
