Nehutsavank or the Neguc Monastery, also known as the Nehuts Monastery of Our Lady or the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Arzakan — an Armenian monastery from the 10th–11th centuries, located in the area of the village of Arzakan in the Kotayk Province of Armenia.
The monastery is situated on a hillside near the village of Arzakan, approximately 2 km northwest of the village center. Nearby are the ruins of the churches Guki Vank (13th century), Surb Astvatsatsin (1207), and Surb Gevorg (13th century). According to various sources, the monastery was founded in the 10th or 11th centuries; however, aside from the fact that ascetics fasted here, almost no other information is found in the chronicles.
The Neguc monastic complex consists of the church Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God), to which a rather large narthex is attached. Nearby are a cemetery and a small chapel. The church has a domed appearance, with prayer rooms in the corners (the dome and southern wall are destroyed), and the eastern side is decorated with triangular Armenian niches. Inscriptions from the 13th century have been preserved on the walls of the narthex.
The foundation of the narthex has a rectangular shape with four freestanding columns. The central part of the roof ends with a dome featuring six interlacing arches.
