This original work "Friends" was created by the contemporary Russian artist Alexander Boytsov.
I was fortunate — I had dogs in my childhood. Two. They were blood brothers — born on the same day to our neighbor’s dog.
At first, we were given one puppy, and after some time, the second one as well. They lived together with our cows and never knew what a collar or a fenced enclosure was.
They were two free and independent dogs. They herded the cows themselves, although no one taught them.
They ran through the forest, catching whatever they could — chipmunks, mice, or ground squirrels.
All summer I spent with them in the woods or by the river, going on hikes, playing Indians or cowboys. They were the most loyal creatures on earth.
I still sometimes look at the remaining photos of them.
Those were good and kind times.
Pencil on high-quality "BRISTOL" paper. Super white and smooth. The density is 250 g.
The drawing was treated with a graphic fixative.
No additional framing.
