The two-level painting "The Mystery of the Third Planet" is part of the "People Like Gods" collection dedicated to my favorite science fiction writers. Those who, with their amazing works, sent my consciousness on a journey across the boundaries of our planet and the galaxy, who filled my childhood and youth with stunning images that formed a lasting love for space for the rest of my life.
"The Mystery of the Third Planet" is dedicated to the writer Kir Bulychev and the heroine of his stories - the girl Alisa, who won my heart with her incredible adventures in different worlds.
I wanted to make this painting multi-level. Such as this amazing planet was, full of secrets and mysteries.
I happily played around with the canvas, damaging it with a meteorite. This is how the image of the planet was created, emerging from my happy childhood
