Nowadays, horse-drawn carts no longer run here. In the 16th century, the lane housed stables and the Kolymazhny Yard, but recently no "cars" can pass through here, as the lane is closed until September 2026. In the past, royal personages used to ride their personal vehicles here with great pleasure. Now, on this fertile and blessed site, instead of stables and the Kolymazhny Yard, stands the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.
