Tverskaya Boulevard is a place with a great literary heritage and to this day preserves the spirit of Yesenin's Moscow, when its streets were full of creativity and free–thinking. Not far from the place where the monument was erected, there was the legendary cafe "The Pegasus Stall", where participants of the literary association of Russian poets of the Silver Age, which included Sergei Yesenin, gathered. And next to the monument lurked a small Pegasus, who left the "stable" to stay forever with the great poet.
