In January 2017, at the MDST hall (Center "DOM") near the Tretyakovskaya metro station in Moscow, a group exhibition named "HE AND SHE" was staged by the Creative Union of Professional Artists (TSPH). According to the exhibition curator, when the workers were hanging the paintings, they spent a long time adjusting what I call "Two Spindles" to the most appropriate pose for the exhibition's theme, and they also adjusted the hanging cables accordingly. However, the exhibition curator, in order to maintain decorum, prevented them from literally illustrating the exhibition's title. According to rumors, the male installers' comments about my painting were sharp and highly illustrative. Oh my God, the great and powerful Russian language!
For censorship reasons, the exhibition curator chose to title the painting "Invasion." She found a clever way out! The name stuck!
