The triptych «Trinity» carries the task of a contemporary reading and interpretation of the ancient Greek myth of the goddess Hecate,
the goddess of the Moon, the underworld, and all that is mysterious.
The three canvases correspond to the three stages of a woman's life and the three phases of the moon - the new moon, the full moon, and the old moon.
In the classical interpretation, these images are the Maiden or girl representing magic, beginnings, growth, the promise of new ventures, birth, youth, and youthful enthusiasm. She is represented by the new moon.
The Mother represents maturity, fertility, sexuality, fulfillment, stability, and strength. She is represented by the full moon.
The Woman represents wisdom, calm, death, and endings. She is represented by the old moon.
I consciously rejected images indicating age because, for me, the inner feeling and transformation of images through color, composition, and overall impression are more important. Age is a vague and illusory category invented to equalize individualities. Ultimately, no matter how old a person is, what matters is mental health and balance, the happiness of being oneself.
Each of the images is self-sufficient and at the same time subordinated to a single concept.
For me, the Trinity is a whole woman capable of uniting the girl, the woman, and the mother within herself, revealing in the trinity her divine essence as a great woman.
