The work depicts early 20th century feminist activists Clara Zetkin and Rosa Luxemburg. The picture consists of 4 squares. If we look at each square separately, in the first square we see Clara Zetkin, in the next square - Rosa Luxemburg and the crow that sits on her shoulder. Further clockwise in the lower part of the picture, we can see that Rosa Luxemburg has an 8-of-hearts card under her feet, which is the symbol of March 8th. Further clockwise, you can see mice marching in the form of Imperial Germany. Under Clara Zetkin's feet lies the circulation of the Iskra newspaper. There is an Achtung leaflet on the table, which is the information they spreaded. The general mood of the painting conveys the celebration of March 8 through the year and the card game.
