In the evening, preparing for the morning sketches, the artist tried to provide everything necessary for the work: carefully selected brushes, mixed paints, prepared an easel and a solution for the palette. His special attention was drawn to the window of a modest village hut. It was through it that the early morning light penetrated into the room, transforming the entire atmosphere.
On the canvas, the viewer sees a simple, but incredibly touching corner of rural life: a wooden table on which there are bottles of sunflower oil, bread, some vegetables, and scattered household items. The open window lets coolness and the fresh aroma of a summer morning into the room, soft light plays on the glass, creating a subtle play of highlights and transparent shadows. Soft golden shades permeate the dark green walls, giving the interior a special, intimate atmosphere of home comfort.
