This bridge is very old. The bridge crosses narrow river Volozka to the village Rozhdestveno. The measured village life is depicted. The people are not hurrying. Everybody is doing their own buisness. Two children help their grandmother to collect old autumn leaves, which she burns. A boy on a bicycle goes somewhere on his own business or just rides around the village. Life itself is depicted - with its smells, sounds, and roughnesses. It seems, stretch out your hand and you will feel the rough surface of the village fence, you will hear the cackling of geese outside the village, you will feel the warmth of freshly baked bread coming from the slightly open door of the hut.
