The monumental canvas "Working Days of the Volga River." is dedicated to the daily, unnoticeable, but very important work of river workers and the industry of the great Russian river. The central motif is a construction site on the bank, where working cranes and barges are located at the very edge of the water. Here, the elements of nature and human efforts come together in a single rhythm: in the foreground, yellow-brown water, speckled with fresh brushstrokes, boils, seagulls circle above it, and in the distance, the shades of limestone deposits smoothly give way to the living greenery of the slopes.
