"Layers of Time" series:
Inspired by the aesthetics of torn street advertisements, captures the dynamics of time through the layering of fragments of the past, present and future. Collages of overlapping fragments create a sense of understatement and allusion, where fragments of objects, faces, dates and phrases are layered to form a new series of meanings. The series explores the nature of memory and how imprints of past events form a multi-layered structure of our perception.
