I saw these stunning rocks in our Crimean bay when my artist friend and I stopped for a swim after painting outdoors. The heat, the warm water, the vivid rocks—all of it felt like the true essence of summer.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
