"Serenity" is a feeling of silence and timelessness, the eternal beauty of nature, its solitude and harmony. It is a portal to a world where everything is in its place, and all sounds and movements dissolve in the sweet tranquility of happiness. I found such a wonderful scene in another Crimean artistic mecca called the Naryshkin Rocks, in Simeiz.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
