As the artist, I wanted to capture the eternal dialogue between the sea and what remains of man-made structures. The old wooden posts stand as witnesses to the cycles of nature—the soaring waves and their inevitable collapse, the bursts of energy and the quiet aftermath. In each crashing wave, I see both strength and fragility, a reminder of how everything rises and falls with time, but beauty endures in every moment of this cycle.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
