This work from the “Emotions” series explores the fragility of a single moment in life. A massive rock, standing like a frozen witness of centuries, bears the secret of irreversible time. Above the water reigns a tranquility disturbed only by a seagull—a symbol of freedom, solitude, and the fleeting nature of existence.
Here, nature speaks in silence, and the viewer becomes a witness to their own ephemerality in the presence of the grandeur of eternity.
In my works, I don’t use white paint or any paints that contain white pigment. All the white areas are simply the paper. I personally tested all my paints for lightfastness, so the colors will remain unchanged even after 50–70 years.
