The picture “Legend” tells the viewer about the eternal struggle between good and evil, angels and demons, desires and passions ... in ourselves. Each person daily faces different facets of personality, understanding of what is happening around us, perception of the world around us. We struggle with ourselves every day, sometimes showing perseverance in judgments, thoughts, actions... and sometimes, we give in to a simple want, desire, dream... and then a dark world awaits us. It is often said that on our shoulders sit two, an angel and a demon, who try to tempt and mislead or guide to the path of truth. The painting shows us how our inner world in the form of a rider on a horse defeats the serpent (selfishness, but even after defeating him, we begin to be surrounded by a world of gossip and intrigue, desires, passions and momentary weaknesses. The world in which we live is often clear to us, we see and hear it, we think we understand it. But the world inside us is a battlefield, the outcome of which will determine our outlook and resilience.
