The elixir of immortality is a mythical substance that has the property of rejuvenating the human body and extending its life indefinitely. The elixir of immortality is mentioned in the legends and traditions of many peoples as a kind of "food" of the gods. The gods of Ancient Greece ate ambrosia, the gods of Ancient India - amrita, the Iranian gods - haoma, the gods of Ancient Egypt drank the water of immortality, the Scandinavian gods ate rejuvenating apples.
The Art of Waves
Humanity lives in a world of waves. Some waves are visible to everyone – for example, wind waves on the sea or on the surface of a rye field. There are waves that everyone is used to using, although they are invisible – radio waves that carry our mobile conversations to stations. There are waves we hear, and without some waves, vision would be impossible.
An artist can imagine these waves in their dynamics and interactions. And this is a new picture of the world as we know it.
The problem of depicting space and time in painting is undoubtedly relevant. Conveying movement and development on canvas or paper, depicting the very breath of life, the fleeting perception of every minute, remains one of the most important tasks of world art. The artist is in search of the newest forms of expressing poetics, emotionality, and expressiveness in a painting through color and form.
The focus of my creativity is the search for and use of new symbols – images of the "invisible world" (the world of feelings, emotions, thoughts, music). I see my task as developing a visual language that would emphasize the multidimensionality of this world.
The wave direction is characterized by complex rhythmic organization, color pulsation, which visually creates the effect of the passage of time, rhythm, color, and the plastic alternation of various forms of lines. It is a search for the newest forms of expressing the wave structure of the world, the interpenetration of spaces and universal interaction, multidimensionality and infinity of endless flows of types of energy, emotionality, and expressiveness in a painting.
When defining the name of the direction, we find many words sounding like "wave" – волна. For example, "waveform" means in the shape of a wave, and "art waveform" —art of form. All these terms combine three main concepts – wave, form, and art. We define the name of the painting direction as Wave Art — the art of the wave.
