Before me, there were no clear boundaries or decisions — only feelings, unformed images born from the intertwining of thoughts. I wanted to capture different aspects within one soul, different paths a person can take in search of truth. The astrological code of the canvas is the symbol of the double moon. In ancient teachings, two moons were considered a sign of cosmic changes, reflecting the balance between:
- light and shadow — the obvious and the hidden;
- knowledge and ignorance — conscious and intuitive;
- order and chaos — structure and freedom.
The unity and opposition of the two moons represent the eternal struggle between knowledge and faith. Their closed eyes do not express sleep — this is a state of deep inner vision and peace, when the external world retreats before primal truths.
The first moon symbolizes intuitive knowledge, dreams under golden stars, subconscious images that lead us where reason is powerless, but with a key, there is hope for light at the end of the tunnel.
The second moon represents the light of reason, logic, the desire to structure the chaos of life. It holds the key — the central symbol. It connects the earthly and the celestial, the material and the metaphysical. It is a tool that opens doors to the unknown but requires the seeker’s readiness to confront themselves.

«Two Moons» is a meditation on the human journey, on the different roads we combine within ourselves: the road of logic and the road of the heart. The truth, in my conception, lies not on one of them, but at their intersection — in the ability to hear both voices and find harmony. I wanted to unite the sacred and the irrational, to show that spirituality does not always fit into canons.
I hope that everyone who meets this canvas with their gaze will feel a resonance with their own soul, hear the whisper of the stars, and take another step on the path to truth — the one hidden in the depths of each of us.
