Paradox:
in the infinite universe
there is nothing infinite.
Even the most enormous,
tenacious and ancient objects
sooner or later disappear,
like dew on the fields under the rays
of the rising sun.
And here I have
a pencil picture on a piece of paper,
which will crumble before
infinity even begins,
called "INFINITE JOURNEY"!
Stupidity? arrogance?
naive fantasy?
No,
I just once took,
and properly agreed
with Zhenya Baratynsky:
But I, in obscurity, loving life for life,
I, carefree in soul,
will I tremble before fate?
Not eternal for the times, I am eternal for myself:
Does not the thunderstorm of theirs speak something to the imagination alone?
The moment belongs to me,
As I belong to the moment!
What need for past or future tribes?
I do not strum my unvoiced strings for them;
I, inattentive, am sufficiently rewarded
For sounds with sounds, and for dreams with dreams.
True, it is not easy,
having agreed to be eternal for oneself,
to remain so,
when everything around insists
on meaninglessness
and inevitable death.
However,
it is worth it;)
БЕСКОНЕЧНОЕ ПУТЕШЕСТВИЕ

Парадокс:
в бесконечной вселенной
нет ничего бесконечного.
Даже самые громадные,
живучие и древнючие объекты
рано или поздно исчезают,
как роса на полях под лучами
восходящего светила.
А у меня тут
карандашная картинка на бумажке,
которая рассыпется раньше,
чем бесконечность ещё даже и не начнётся,
называется "Бесконечное путешествие"!
Глупость? самоуверенность?
наивная фантазия?
Нет,
просто как-то раз я взял,
да и как следует согласился
с Женькой Баратынским:
Но я, в безвестности, для жизни жизнь любя,
Я, беззаботливый душою,
Вострепещу ль перед судьбою?
Не вечный для времен, я вечен для себя:
Не одному ль воображенью
Гроза их что-то говорит?
Мгновенье мне принадлежит,
Как я принадлежу мгновенью!
Что нужды до былых иль будущих племен?
Я не для них бренчу незвонкими струнами;
Я, невнимаемый, довольно награжден
За звуки звуками, а за мечты мечтами.
Правда, не просто это,
согласившись быть вечным для себя,
таковым оставаться,
когда всё вокруг настаивает
на бессмысленности
и неизбежной смерти.
Однако
оно того стоит;)
