Наземный павильон станции метро "Орехово" в Москве расположен у входа в дворцово-парковый аесамбль "Царицыно" императрицы Екатерины II. Павильон метрополитена, построенный в 1984 году, обладает некоторыми стилистическими чертами, отсылающими к садово- парковой архитектуре исторического ансамбля, в то же время он чем-то напоминает летающую тарелку. Ассоциации с НЛО имеют под собой основания, связанные с байками и легендами об этом загадочном месте.
Работа выполнена маслом на льняном холсте. Торцы подрамника обтянуты холстом и окрашены. При желании можно жкспонировать без рамы.
