Here is my work of art, which I created in the summer of 2024. This is an unusual picture for me. The main thing that is not standard here is the lighting. The action in the picture takes place at night on the veranda of my favorite village house, built in 1911. I saw this scene and immediately wanted to depict it. MY SISTER IS READING A BOOK. Look how unusually the figure is lit. There is a lamp on the chair. The girl's figure casts shadows on the wall. I adore the combination of red and dark green. This combination is often found in old Russian icons. The coloring and lighting of this painting are unique, I really hope they impress you.
