I created this self-portrait last fall. This painting is very important to me because it is a creative experiment. I was inspired by the famous painting by Caravaggio "Young Man Bitten by a Lizard". I needed my mother's help to create this paintinWe picked beautiful flowers together and brought them to the river. In the foreground there is a watering can in the shape of a fish. I imagined myself as the goddess Flora, surrounded by flowers and herbs. And suddenly, unexpectedly, a bite - a lizard bite. I screamed in pain, but it was this emotional moment that I wanted to capture. And what do you think, should an artist depict himself in unusual situations?
