The banks are framed by lush greenery – the artist uses dozens of shades, from almost black emerald to the light green of young foliage. In some places, the water takes on turquoise shimmers, revealing sandbanks. The painting technique is free: the distant plans are painted with light, blurred strokes, and in the foreground, individual branches and blades of grass are clearly worked out. In this landscape, the breath of the forest is felt – it seems that you can hear the murmur of water and the rustle of leaves. The composition is constructed in such a way that the viewer involuntarily becomes a traveler standing on the shore and thinking about the upcoming road.
