Went on a plein air painting trip to Pushkin with my students. While everyone was still asleep, I walked around and enthusiastically painted the imperial palace. The official summer residence of three Russian rulers - Catherine I, Elizabeth Petrovna, and Catherine II. Illuminated by the morning sun, it is beautiful. I painted realistically, but it turned out impressionistic – such light.
