I visited the Shamordino monastery near Kozelsk. A majestic monastery, the temple is gigantic, and surprisingly, you feel light inside it. The magnificent view from the observation deck overlooks the valley and the temples that blend seamlessly into the landscape. It was also surprising that the weather was restless – sometimes rain, sometimes sun – yet from the monastery, a sense of calm and inner beauty is felt.
