We visited the Sviblovo estate. A small cozy estate in the north of Moscow, it was built next to a small village of the same name, which stood here as early as the mid-15th century. The most interesting place in the park is a small island with a rotunda in the middle. The "Temple of Air" is located on the estate grounds; it is a circular structure covered with a dome supported by columns. The morning side light reveals a Matisse-like color palette in the greenery. An interesting challenge is to paint the white gazebo against the greenery, entirely in shadow. I am sharing the result.
